Ian Branum

Ian Branum started his career as a logistics officer in the US Navy. After three tours he got out, obtained an MBA and entered the commercial world, first as a consultant with Accenture. Since then, Ian has accumulated over ten years’ experience designing, developing and implementing enterprise solutions for clients in the energy, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing industries. He has led project teams varying in size from one man bands to a dozen developers.

Prior to joining Element Blue, Ian spent the preceding year in Baghdad, Iraq as a mobilized reservist, where he served as Network Engineering Branch Chief for US Forces, Iraq. He has a BA in Computer Science from Berkeley, an MBA from Cambridge and a JD from the University of Melbourne.
